Help with ContractorKit

ContractorKit stores your business records locally on your device. The steps below resolve the most common questions without exposing your client or financial information.

Getting started

1. Complete the brief first-run introduction.
2. Open Settings → Overhead setup and enter annual operating costs and billable hours.
3. Create a job, add its bid amount, then record labor, material, subcontractor, and overhead costs.
4. Use Dashboard to compare estimated and actual margin.

Quotes, invoices, and PDFs

Create documents from a job or the Documents tab. PDF sharing is initiated by you through the standard iOS share sheet. ContractorKit does not upload or store a copy.

Backing up or deleting data

ContractorKit does not operate a cloud account or server backup. Deleting the app deletes its locally stored data. Export important PDFs before removing the app or changing devices.
